Founded in 1993 in Maryland and Finland, RF VALVES, INC. was created around an idea for a better pinch valve. Two entrepreneurs – Esko Riikonen and Eric Feldmann – patented an innovative elastomeric expansion pleat tube that lasts 2 to 4 times longer than traditional tubes, as well as a pinch valve design that allows in-line tube replacement, reducing maintenance time by 75%. Engineers in a wide variety of industries have been delighted with the valve’s performance, and still are today.
